Back in March we paid a visit to the USAFE 48th Fighter Wing at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk. The chance to photograph the F-15s that were whizzing about was not allowed but the jewel in the crown for me was the 'Wings Of Liberty Memorial Park' situated on the base. This featured most of the aircraft the 48th has flown from Lakenheath. The F-4C is painted as 65-777 but is really 63-7419.
